Role Summary: The Billing Records Chart Auditor plays a crucial role in pinpointing errors in billing and coding documentation, including any missing, incomplete, or incorrect information within patient records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality assurance of billing records.


• Organize and develop chart verification checklists.


• Identify and document any missing, incomplete, or incorrect data or documentation.


• Proactively communicate with team members, clinical directors, and both clinical and billing personnel to rectify identified errors.


• Comprehend the critical aspects of accurate documentation.

Required Skills & Expectations:


• Ability to work independently.


• Proficiency in navigating EHR systems and Salesforce efficiently.


• Stay updated on all revised processes and procedures.


• Solid understanding of proper documentation practices and effective record-keeping.


• Maintain effective communication with the Direct Manager.


• Uphold the confidentiality of patient information and records.
