Part-time position available for a dynamic and motivated Adjunct Instructor to teach Office Management courses in the Non-Credit Vocational Education program.

Position Overview

The Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team as an Adjunct Instructor in Office Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a range of Office Management courses, promoting engaging and inclusive educational environments, and supporting student learning.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Office Management courses in the Non-Credit Vocational Education program
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and instructional materials
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues and administrators to support student success
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline and two years of occupational experience related to Office Management
  • Associate degree in any discipline and six years of occupational experience related to Office Management
  • Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college faculty, staff, and students
Preferred Qualifications
  • Microsoft Office Specialist Certification
  • Microsoft Office Specialist: Expert Certification
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams
  • Bilingual Certificate - California Commission on Teacher Credentialing
  • Possession of a California Designated Subjects Adult Education Teaching Credential authorizing instruction in Office Management
