Key Responsibilities
  • Upholds the cleanliness and safety of hotel rooms and facilities for guests, staff, and vendors.
  • Prepares cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring carts and storage areas are organized for efficient room maintenance.
  • Conducts thorough cleaning of windows, doors, walls, closets, and fixtures in guest rooms, public spaces, and corridors.
  • Sanitizes bathrooms, including washing shower walls, tubs, toilets, and stall walls, ensuring hygienic conditions in guest and public restrooms.
  • Restocks towels, soaps, and other room amenities, ensuring that all supplies are available for incoming guests.
  • Cleans all hard floor surfaces to eliminate dirt and maintain a pristine environment.
  • Dusts and polishes furniture, fixtures, and decorative items to uphold aesthetic standards.
  • Strips beds of used linens and remakes them with fresh bedding.
  • Inspects closets for cleanliness, wiping down surfaces and replenishing guest supplies.
  • Vacuum cleans rooms, public areas, and hallways to maintain a tidy atmosphere.
  • Checks the functionality of door and window locks, promptly reporting any security concerns to management.
  • Ensures all lights and remotes are operational for guest convenience.
  • Maintains a positive, friendly, and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Performs additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of cleaning techniques, use of cleaning agents, and operation of standard cleaning machinery.
  • Physical capability to perform cleaning tasks, including reaching, bending, and lifting.
  • Ability to maneuver equipment weighing up to 100 lbs.
  • Capacity to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Effective communication skills with guests and team members.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Work Environment

This position requires standing for extended periods, along with bending, stooping, and repetitive motions. The work is primarily conducted in a climate-controlled environment.
