Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer - Medical Devices

DBSI Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in Orlando, FL. As a key member of our Clinical Applications and Devices Organization, you will be responsible for the design and development of medical devices that meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of new medical devices, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and test products, including mechanical, firmware, and software development disciplines.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including requirements, design specifications, and test plans.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers, ensuring the successful execution of projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to ensure our products remain competitive and compliant.

Requirements:

  • BS degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in systems engineering, with a focus on medical devices.
  • Proven track record of leading complex projects and teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, including ISO 14971 and IEC 62336.
  • Experience with electronic requirement data management software, preferably DOORS.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Master's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with reliability planning and verification/validation testing processes.
  • Knowledge of product development processes and best practices.
  • Electrical or software development experience is a plus.

Compensation: $60.00 per hour.
