About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Systems Engineer with a strong background in leading medical device development projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of US and international regulatory requirements, as well as experience in managing cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of complex medical devices, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Manage and mentor junior engineers, providing guidance on system design and development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including customers and regulatory bodies
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve system design and development
Requirements
  • BS degree in engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Systems Engineering role, with a strong background in medical device development
  • Proven track record of leading successful projects, with a focus on quality and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong understanding of US and international regulatory requirements, including ISO 14971 and IEC 62336
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in engineering or a related field
  • Experience with electronic requirement data management software, such as DOORS
  • Knowledge of product development processes and best practices
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including customers and regulatory bodies
