Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of new product releases and sustaining activities, ensuring technical leadership and responsibility for realization.

  • Provide systems design/architecture and integration oversight, supporting NPI efforts that create value for Clinical Applications and Devices Organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions, ensuring defect/risk management and design reviews.
Requirements:
  • BS degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • Minimum five years of experience in engineering/R&D, with a focus on medical devices and regulated industries.
  • Proven track record of leading groups to solutions for complex problems, with experience in deriving and simulating human interactions with devices and device use conditions.
  • Excellent requirements and specification writing skills, with a deep understanding of US and international regulatory requirements for medical devices.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective cross-functional and cross-organizational relationships, with excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Master's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • Experience developing reliability plans and knowledge of product development processes and best practices.
  • Knowledge of verification and validation testing processes, with electrical or software development experience a plus.
