Job Summary

As a Sales Executive 2, Business Development Specialist at Comcast, you will be responsible for securing long-term agreements with new and existing clients in the multi-dwelling unit (MDU) market. This role will involve managing the sales cycle, from prospect identification to contract closure, and serving as the primary point of contact for customers in your assigned area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify opportunities to introduce and sell advanced technology products and services to new and existing MDU clients, effectively managing sales funnels and forecasts.
  • Establish consultative relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions, utilizing a solution-selling strategy.
  • Present company services to new and existing customers, developing and providing consultations, presentations, and proposals to differentiate Comcast from competitors.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, property managers, and university officials.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal cross-functional partners.
  • Ensure a positive customer experience by facilitating smooth transitions between internal partners during onboarding.
  • Manage a defined territory, developing local business partnerships and organizational affiliations, and enhancing Comcast's positioning and brand.
  • Notify senior leadership of changes to market dynamics and the competitive landscape.
  • Provide exemplary customer service, building and maintaining strong relationships between customers and Comcast, and following up on all leads, inquiries, and messages.
  • Interface regularly with high-level clientele, including C-Suite executives, property owners, and government officials.
  • Build strong business cases, supported by accurate financial modeling, documentation, and negotiated legal agreements.
  • Review assigned territory to ensure all customers are contacted on a prescribed, periodic basis.
  • Assist in the preparation of project status reports and maintain accurate sales/service records and customer activity records.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual assigned sales and business quality objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience in sales or business development
