Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Pipefitter to join our team at Industrial Technology Services. As a leading provider of manufacturing solutions, we specialize in the design and installation of complex systems, and we're looking for an experienced individual to help us deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, modify, and repair mechanical pipe installations, working with a variety of materials, including PVC pipe and tubing.
  • Measure and cut pipe and tubing to required specifications using precision tools.
  • Threading and assembling pipe and tubing, including PVC, Copper, and Black Pipe.
  • Prepare, fabricate, install, and fit pipe to specification, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Install valves, hangers, supports, and flanges in mechanical piping systems, adhering to plans and applicable specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with quality and safety codes, maintaining a zero-accident philosophy in all aspects of construction operations.

Requirements:

  • At least 3+ years of experience in mechanical pipe fitting.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with basic construction codes and safety regulations.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to read measurements and use basic math skills.

Physical Demands:

  • Extensive walking through factory environments and production areas.
  • Lifting and carrying objects safely, up to 20 lbs. routinely, 50 lbs. frequently, and 80 lbs. occasionally.
  • Ability to work skillfully with both hands constantly.
  • Ability to climb and maintain balance on ladders and scaffolding.
  • Ability to work from extreme heights.
  • Travel to job sites as assigned, both in-state and out-of-state.
