Job Overview:


Become a vital member of our innovative manufacturing team as a Mechanical Assembly Technician. In this role, you will engage in diverse assembly operations, focusing on both sub-assembly and general assembly tasks.

Your primary responsibilities will include affixing brackets, using hand and power tools to secure fasteners, clips, or other components onto window units, and applying caulking to seal gaps effectively.

Additionally, you will manage the finishing touches on material ends, encase final products with protective netting, and perform inspections throughout the assembly process to guarantee quality and eliminate defects.

This position necessitates standing and walking for an 8-hour shift while assembling large window units that can extend up to 30 feet in length. You may also be required to work outdoors occasionally for material handling and unit testing.

As part of your duties, you will strive to achieve daily and overall production targets, demonstrating adaptability as you will receive cross-training in various assembly functions.

This role demands precision and meticulous attention to detail due to the size and delicacy of the materials involved.

Work Environment:


You will operate in a bustling, non-climate controlled facility filled with the sounds of machinery and a dedicated team of assemblers. The environment involves working with large sheets of glass, metal, and steel frames. Products are stored both indoors and outdoors, occasionally exposing you to varying weather conditions.
