About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Niagara Bottling. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems using technical drawings and testing equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including injection molders, blow molders, and conveyors.
  • Modify, lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipment in accordance with our defined processes.
  • Maintain industrial control systems and work independently to complete repairs in a safe and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other team members to resolve mechanical issues and propose solutions to complex problems.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a field or similar maintenance environment.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and resolve issues across multiple departments.
  • Basic experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic.
  • Skilled in the use of shop equipment, precision measuring equipment, and basic tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 6 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working in high-speed manufacturing, bottling, beverage, packaging, or plastics industries.
  • Experience with variable frequency drive, servo drives, and servo motor.
  • Skilled in fabrication capabilities, electrical systems, and HVAC.
