Job Title: R&D Engineer

At Carbon Composites Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled R&D Engineer to join our team. As an R&D Engineer, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the design, testing, and implementation of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and development activities for new and existing products, applying research theories, principles, and models to perform experiments and related activities.
  • Summarize research results and communicate findings, assessing the scope of research projects and ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with the management team in planning, costing, and implementing production and project budgets.
  • Work with the engineering, sales, and marketing departments to ensure product feasibility.
  • Redesign existing products to enhance functionality or reduce costs.
  • Resolve product issues and collaborate with the production engineer on the production process.
  • Create and optimize Job Travelers on the M1 system or Excel.
  • Assist with process improvement and the improvement of in-process Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Requirements:
  • Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Proficient with computer design software.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with project management.
  • Ability to translate design concepts into physical objects.
  • Strong multi-tasking, time management, and organizational skills.
Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods working on feet and/or sitting, using computer, tools, and equipment, and performing actions that could entail bending and stooping. Visual acuity.
