Facilities Maintenance Supervisor

Location: United States

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily activities of maintenance personnel to ensure efficient production support.
  • Utilize CMMS software to implement preventative maintenance strategies and address recurring downtime challenges.
  • Champion the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiative within the facility.
  • Drive plant efficiency improvements by spearheading Six Sigma and continuous enhancement projects.
  • Create and update operational procedures, policies, and maintenance protocols to meet compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Investigate equipment failures and lead efforts in Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Engage in reliability-related incident reviews; prioritize follow-up actions and ensure their execution.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Preferred 3 to 5 years of leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical application in a hands-on setting.
  • Proficient in computer applications and project management, capable of handling multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with control systems, programmable logic controllers, and manufacturing process equipment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to lead project teams effectively.
  • Excellent organizational capabilities, with a focus on results and resource management.
