Role Overview:
The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the planning, direction, and coordination of maintenance activities within our manufacturing environment. This role ensures compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and enforce safety policies and initiatives throughout the facility.
- Plan and allocate resources effectively, including skilled trades personnel and materials, to support operational excellence.
- Diagnose facility needs and develop both short-term and long-term solutions for equipment and systems.
- Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and job site organization.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to foster professional growth.
- Collaborate with management and internal stakeholders to ensure clarity on project scopes and timelines.
- Maintain a physical presence on-site to oversee operations and address issues as they arise.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance.
- Proven experience in supervising technical teams.
- Strong analytical skills to address complex problems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to motivate and engage team members.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Technical knowledge of security and timekeeping systems.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe industrial work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement.
- Certification as a Construction Manager (CCM) is a plus.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems and project management software.
