We are seeking a committed Customer Support Specialist to enhance our operations. In this role, you will be tasked with addressing inquiries from clients and providers across various communication platforms while ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and regulatory standards. This position is remote, providing the flexibility to work from any location.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming and outgoing communications via phone and email
- Examine provider histories and collaborate with relevant departments for precise information
- Accurately maintain reports and data
- Work in conjunction with supervisors and providers as necessary
- Follow schedules and effectively complete assigned responsibilities
- Execute additional duties as needed
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Workers Compensation regulations
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with medical terminology and coding
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Background in customer service within Managed Care and Benefit Administration fields
