Job Title: Training Specialist II

The Training Specialist II is a key member of the CERIS Operations team, responsible for developing and delivering training programs to enhance the knowledge and skills of department staff trainers. This role requires a deep understanding of the business and the ability to articulate CERIS's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Management to identify training needs and develop programs to meet those needs
  • Design and deliver training sessions, including classroom, virtual, and field training
  • Develop training materials, including curriculum and support documentation
  • Conduct surveys to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement
  • Prepare onboarding training for new employees and maintain accurate records of training progress
  • Build a library of eLearning modules and collaborate with Privacy to ensure compliance with PHI, PII, and HIPAA regulations
  • Provide regular progress reports to department managers and SVP
Requirements:
  • Preferred degree in HR, education, or training, or equivalent experience
  • Prior experience as a trainer in classroom and remote online environments
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems and creating training support materials
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to identify gaps in skills and knowledge
  • Knowledge of various teaching methods and approaches
