Senior Catering Sales Executive

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Catering Sales Executive to join our team at Marriott Hotels. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for handling complex social and local corporate catering opportunities, providing day-to-day supervision to catering sales associates, and achieving catering revenue goals by actively up-selling each business opportunity to maximize revenue.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the sales efforts for the property, including local corporate and social catering.
- Respond to incoming catering opportunities for the property.
- Identify, qualify, and solicit new catering business to achieve personal and property revenue goals.
- Contract and close local catering and social business, verifying that business is turned over properly and in a timely fashion for quality service delivery.
- Implement the brand's service strategy and applicable brand initiatives in all aspects of the sales process and drive customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.
- High school diploma or GED; 2 years experience in the sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional.
- OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; no work experience required.
- Preferred: 2 years of catering sales experience.
Marriott Hotels offers a competitive hourly pay range of $36.06 to $45.67, a bonus program, comprehensive health care benefits, 401(k) plan with up to 5% company match, employee stock purchase plan at 15% discount, accrued paid time off (including sick leave where applicable), life insurance, group disability insurance, travel discounts, adoption assistance, paid parental leave, health savings account (except for positions based out of or performed in Hawaii), flexible spending accounts, tuition assistance, pre-tax commuter benefits, and other life and work wellness benefits.
