Lycoming College is in search of a Chief Safety Officer to enhance its team. The selected individual will be tasked with managing safety, security, accident prevention, fire safety, and parking enforcement initiatives while promoting an inclusive and equitable campus environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directing and implementing ongoing patrols to deter crime and uphold public safety
  • Supporting grievance and investigative procedures
  • Building partnerships with law enforcement and community organizations
  • Recruiting and onboarding public safety staff
  • Ensuring compliance with the Clery Act
  • Overseeing the departmental budget
  • Facilitating training and development initiatives
  • Formulating policies and operational procedures

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in criminal justice administration or a related discipline, along with a minimum of five years of experience in a comparable position.
