UPMC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Anesthesiologist to lead and support our Outpatient Surgery Centers in northcentral Pennsylvania.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of anesthesiologists and support staff to provide high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement anesthesia care plans to ensure patient safety and satisfaction
  • Collaborate with hospital administrators and medical staff to improve quality and safety metrics
  • Manage and oversee anesthesia services, including staffing, budgeting, and equipment
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures
