Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Lead Elf Assistant to join our team for the holiday season. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a small team of Santa's Helpers, ensuring a magical experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote a positive and collaborative environment, upholding our core values and policies.
  • Assist the Lead Elf (Local Manager) with preparations for the opening day, including hiring completion, inventory management, equipment setup, staff scheduling, and training.
  • Take high-quality photos of families and children with Santa, ensuring everyone looks merry and bright.
  • Help with Elf recruitment and training, ensuring all team members are ready to embody the spirit of the season.
  • Support fellow Elves in various tasks, such as crowd control, photo sessions, and engaging with guests.
  • Contribute to creating a magical and Elf-friendly atmosphere, resolving customer issues with holiday cheer.
  • Ensure proper setup and operation of the Santa Set, maintaining a festive and fun environment.
  • Lead by example, reinforcing policies and procedures established by senior management.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate to IT or Local Management when necessary.
  • Assist the Local Manager with administrative tasks, such as inventory management, scheduling, training, and recruiting.
Requirements
  • Strong teamwork and organizational skills, with a love for the holidays.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and Elf-like attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and understand the importance of leadership.
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use good judgment and make strong, independent decisions.
  • Ability to process sales transactions and comfortable with cash handling.
  • Professional attire and good hygiene are a must.
  • Available to attend mandatory pre-season training.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work during peak retail hours, such as evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Available to work a minimum of 20 hours a week or as needed.
