About the Role

Cayuga Health System is seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in our healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform skilled plumbing work, including installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems
  • Demonstrate expertise in the use of computer facility management software
  • Perform semi-skilled HVAC work as needed
  • Ability to work at various sites throughout the healthcare network
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment according to established procedures
  • Inspect, calibrate, adjust, lubricate, and repair or replace components of the plumbing system
  • Schedule and maintain records of maintenance repairs
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrable plumbing experience
  • 2+ years of experience in facilities engineering in a hospital environment
  • 5+ years of relevant commercial plumbing experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • NYS Backflow Preventer Certification
  • Medical Gas ASSE 6040 certification
Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Requirements also include climbing, bending, and the ability to get into tight spaces while working off a ladder.

Location and Travel Requirements

Onsite at our Main Campus. Periodic travel to other facilities can be expected in this role.

Pay Range Disclosure

$29 - $37 per hour
