Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute advanced plumbing tasks with precision and skill.
  • Utilize facility management software to monitor and manage plumbing systems.
  • Conduct semi-skilled HVAC maintenance as required.
  • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on complex plumbing systems, ensuring optimal functionality.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in plumbing, with a minimum of 2 years in a healthcare facility setting.
  • At least 5 years of relevant commercial plumbing experience.

Preferred Certifications:

  • NYS Backflow Preventer Certification and Medical Gas ASSE 6040 certification are preferred.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring climbing, bending, and working in confined spaces.

Work Environment:

  • This position is primarily onsite, with occasional travel to various facilities as needed.

Compensation:

  • Hourly wage ranges from $22.00 to $27.00.
