About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated IT Security Specialist V to join our team at BCForward. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for implementing and operating IT security solutions to ensure the infrastructure is secure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and operate IT security solutions to ensure the infrastructure is secure
  • Develop, test, and implement security plans, products, and control techniques
  • Coordinate the reporting of data security incidents
  • Provide technical support to clients and management on risk assessments and implementation of data security procedures and products
  • Execute security controls to prevent hackers from infiltrating company information or jeopardizing e-commerce programs
  • Research attempted efforts to compromise security protocols
  • Administer security policies to control access to systems and maintain the company firewall

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of IT experience
  • Strong understanding of various IT infrastructure components such as networking, servers, and security
  • Experience with scanning and reporting products (McAfee, ESM, Qualys, Tanium, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of information security and best practices
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with TippingPoint IDS
  • Experience with proxy management (BlueCoat, McAfee Web Gateway, etc.)
  • Experience with certificate management
  • Experience with HSMs
  • Experience with pen-testing and vulnerability scanning
