Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Quality Inspector to join our team at Consolidated Metco. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for conducting visual inspections of parts on the production floor, ensuring that products meet customer specifications and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct visual inspections of parts on the production floor to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Perform quality control inspections and approve materials by confirming specifications and conducting visual and measurement tests.
  • Identify and segregate non-conforming parts, documenting deficiencies according to work instructions.
  • Communicate with supervisors and quality managers regarding questionable non-conforming parts.
  • Maintain, test, calibrate, and troubleshoot instrumentation devices.
  • Resolve concerns on questionable parts and submit quality records for all inspected parts.
  • Provide training and support to team members as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma and/or GED.
  • One year of experience as an inspector or in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to understand and carry out detailed written or verbal instructions.
  • Familiarity with visual inspection techniques is preferred.

We offer a competitive salary range of $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and 401k plan. Employees also receive vacation time, sick leave, and paid holidays.
