Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to fill a Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Assistant Professor position in the Department of Surgical Sciences at the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the clinical training of students and participating in patient care through diagnostic imaging using various modalities.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach didactic, laboratory, and clinical courses to veterinary medical students
  • Participate in patient care through diagnostic imaging using radiography, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, radiology imaging, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging
  • Supervise residents and continuing education of veterinarians
  • Contribute to the development of an academic program that includes radiology and diagnostic imaging
Requirements:
  • Completion of residency training in Radiology/Diagnostic Imaging required by time of start date
  • Board certified or board eligible in the American College of Veterinary Radiology or European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging required at time of start date
  • Wisconsin Veterinary License required
