Job Summary:

The University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine seeks a highly skilled cardiologist to join our esteemed Heart Failure/Transplant Program. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to create a unique clinical practice, engage in teaching and clinical research, and contribute to the advancement of cardiovascular medicine.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide inpatient and outpatient clinic attending services at UW Hospitals and Clinics locations in Madison and at additional sites within the region.
  • Develop and implement clinical research endeavors, including pursuit of independent funding to continue and develop research projects.
  • Provide clinical teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows, including CME lectures.

Qualifications:
  • Fellowship trained in heart failure and transplant cardiology.
  • Eligible for a WI medical license.

This position requires work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location.

Appointment Type, Duration:

Ongoing/Renewable.

Additional Information:

This position has been identified as a position of trust with access to vulnerable populations. The selected candidate will be required to pass an initial caregiver check to be eligible for employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and every four years.
