Production Chemical Sales Specialist

Avantor is seeking an experienced Sales Specialist to join the Production Chemical Segment. This role will be responsible for daily sales and business development efforts, focusing on Avantor's diversified production chemical portfolio and custom manufacturing capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand customer relationships.
- Partner with inside and outside sales representatives to close complex sales and provide technical expertise.
- Train and coach territory sales teams on technical knowledge related to specialty products and services.
- Act as a subject matter expert to drive revenue growth and develop new business opportunities.
- Attend industry events, training classes, and professional organization meetings to stay up-to-date on market trends and best practices.
- 2-3 years of chemical selling experience in the life science, biopharma, diagnostic, microelectronics, or industrial markets.
- Experience in business development or sales within a business-to-business environment.
- BS degree or equivalent work experience required.
- A sales hunter with a sales hunter mentality, able to drive revenue growth and expand customer relationships.
- A proactive individual with strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Able to work well under pressure and adapt to a fast-changing environment.
