Job Summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a skilled Group Life Counselor I, II, or III to join our Behavioral Health Department in Seattle. This full-time position is located at Renacer Youth Treatment Center, an inpatient facility for young adults struggling with substance abuse. The successful candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team providing direct services to patients in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct services to patients, including group care, intake procedures, evaluation, individual and group counseling, milieu management, and supervision.
  • Work closely with the treatment team to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Facilitate treatment educational groups and provide individual or group sessions as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, or related field.
  • Associates degree in Chemical Dependency and at least two years' experience working with at-risk populations.
  • Experience working with high-risk youth or adults preferred.
  • CPR Certification and First-Aid training required.
