Job Title: Group Life Counselor I, II or III

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a skilled Group Life Counselor to join our Behavioral Health team. As a member of our multi-disciplinary treatment team, you will provide direct services to patients in a residential setting, including group care, intake procedures, evaluation, individual and group counseling, milieu management, and supervision of patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct services to patients in a residential setting, including group care, intake procedures, evaluation, individual and group counseling, milieu management, and supervision of patients.
  • Work closely with the treatment team to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Facilitate treatment educational groups with patients.
  • Supervise patients in individual or group sessions.

Requirements:

  • B.A. degree in Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, or related field.
  • Associates degree in Chemical Dependency and at least two years' experience in working with at-risk populations.
  • Experience working with high-risk youth or adults preferred.
  • CPR Certification and First-Aid certification required.
