Job Summary:

The Human Resource Partner at Loma Linda University Medical Center serves as the primary interface between Human Resources and operational units of the organization.

As a key member of the HR team, this role provides consultation and collaboration on a wide range of human resources issues, offering expert guidance and linkage to the central Human Resource office.

This position acts as a liaison to other human resource functions, including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, employee relations, service center, compliance, and staff development.

Key responsibilities include performing other duties as needed, ensuring seamless HR operations, and fostering a culture of excellence within the organization.


Requirements:

A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field is required, along with a minimum of two years of experience as an HR generalist or in a related area.

Preferred qualifications include a minimum of one year of previous management experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.

Strong knowledge of state and federal employment laws, as well as The Joint Commission, CMS, and other healthcare agency regulations, is essential.

Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and training skills, along with effective oral and written communication skills, are necessary for success in this role.

Able to work efficiently in a Microsoft Windows environment and maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work.


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience or training in problem-solving, dispute resolution, and negotiation skills is highly desirable.

Ability to utilize excellent organizational skills, work independently with minimal supervision, and manage a high-volume workload is essential.

Able to distinguish colors as necessary, write, hear, read, and speak sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace.

A valid Driver's License is required at the time of hire.
