About the Job

Are you ready to accelerate your career in the automotive industry? As a Technician at Penske, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles. With a focus on preventative maintenance and minor repairs, you'll help our customers keep their vehicles in top condition.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel and gas engine vehicles
  • Use Penske's tools and technologies to log, research, and complete repairs
  • Partner with experienced supervisors and master technicians to learn new skills and techniques
  • Work on a variety of projects and tasks as assigned by your supervisor

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to solve problems and work well in a team environment
  • Excellent customer service skills and communication skills
Physical Requirements

The physical demands of this job include frequent movement, standing, walking, climbing, bending, and sitting for extended periods. You'll also need to use your hands to grasp, reach, touch, handle, feel, and/or operate required tools or controls. You must be able to work safely at heights using applicable ladders and elevated working platforms, and be able to see and hear in order to safely navigate the work environment.
