Job Title: Diesel Technician

At Ryder System, we are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of heavy-duty trucks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake and tire work
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines and other vehicle systems
  • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and repairs
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Vocational or technical certification in diesel mechanics or a related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in diesel mechanics or a related field
  • Valid CDL Class A license preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
