Job Title: Diesel Technician

Ryder System is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with diesel engines and transmissions
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and repair problems
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks and meet deadlines
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety protocols
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in diesel mechanics or a related field
  • Knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy equipment
