Position Overview:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will be responsible for providing essential nursing care to individuals in a correctional environment. This role involves working closely with both adult and juvenile populations, ensuring their health and safety while adhering to strict security protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for inmates.
2. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate referrals for specialized medical, dental, and mental health services.
3. Monitor and document changes in patients' physical and psychological conditions, reporting significant findings to the supervising RN or physician.
4. Participate in infection control measures and contribute to the orientation and ongoing education of staff.
5. Maintain compliance with all facility policies, procedures, and security guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Current Practical Nursing License in the relevant state.
- At least one year of experience in a correctional setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in English are required.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and maintain patient confidentiality.
