Key Responsibilities- Provide direct, evidence-based care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician.
- Assist with medical procedures, monitoring, and other functions as directed.
- Perform laboratory and procedural tests within the scope of practice, after demonstrating competency.
- Document patient care in the medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
- Serve as a resource to department staff, students, and volunteers to ensure quality patient care.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Licensed Practical Nurse with IV Certification (LPN IV) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Graduate of a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nursing program.
