Key Responsibilities:
1. Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for inmates.
2. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate necessary referrals for medical, dental, and mental health services.
3. Monitor and report any physiological or psychosocial changes in patients to the supervising RN or physician.
4. Maintain accurate documentation of patient responses to interventions and treatments.
5. Ensure a safe and effective healthcare environment by adhering to facility policies and procedures.
6. Participate in infection control initiatives and staff training programs as required.
7. Follow established security protocols related to tools and patient interactions.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Current Practical Nursing License in the relevant state.
- Preferred experience of at least one year in a correctional setting.
- Adherence to professional nursing standards and practices.
- Completion of competency programs as mandated.
- Current CPR certification and health clearance as necessary.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.
- Basic computer skills are essential.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
