Job Title: Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary:

Archway Physician Recruitment is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and services to individuals with mental health and addiction issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate clients for medical therapy and provide prescriptions for medication when appropriate within established protocols.
  • Review and sign treatment plans, formal treatment plan reviews, and other similar documents for assigned clients.
  • Initiate Baker Act involuntary treatment documents and facilitate admission to an appropriate inpatient facility when indicated.
  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations for referred clients and prepare required reports.
  • Provide consultation to staff regarding client diagnosis and treatment, treatment program development, referral options, and other similar topics.
  • Train staff, clients, and others in disease prevention and health maintenance programs.
  • Review medical history and physical exam and diagnostic testing reports, and refer clients for follow-up medical care when indicated.
  • Order and interpret laboratory and other diagnostic tests to confirm or deny preliminary diagnosis.
  • Consult with other physicians and clinical staff to facilitate effective client care.

Requirements:

  • RN with Master's Degree in clinical area or completion of specialized ARNP training program recognized by the Board of Nursing.
  • Currently licensed to practice as an ARNP in the State of Florida.
  • Trained in Mental Health and Addictions, or have experience with this population and be Psychiatric Mental Health Certified.
