Centene Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Medicare Program Manager III to lead the development and implementation of our Medicare Supplemental benefits, including dental, vision, and hearing. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for promoting increased program efficiency, service levels, and value through strategy development, opportunity identification, planning, organization, monitoring, and leadership of multiple concurrent strategies to implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead strategies for Medicare Supplemental benefits, including dental, vision, and hearing
  • Support Medicare Advantage bid development to determine product and benefit changes in response to CMS requirements and market positioning
  • Lead potential vendor research evaluation and implementation
  • Perform detailed analysis and provide tailored benefit recommendations
  • Develop CMS filing guidelines for dental, vision, and hearing benefits
  • Manage multiple benefits through the full product development life cycle, including requirements gathering, creation of documents and schedules, obtaining and managing resources, managing budget, and facilitating execution, deployment, and closure
  • Utilize corporate and industry-standard project management tools and techniques to effectively manage benefit portfolios
  • Maintain detailed benefit design documentation as needed, including action items, issues lists, and risk mitigation plans
  • Provide leadership and effectively communicate status to all stakeholders, including executive summaries and presentations
  • Negotiate with stakeholders to identify and secure resources, resolve issues, and mitigate risks
  • Lead cross-functional meetings with various functional areas to meet overall stakeholder expectations and company objectives

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of project implementation, product, or program management experience
  • Medicare Supplement Benefits (Dental, Vision, Hearing) experience strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of product development experience strongly preferred
  • CMS filing experience strongly preferred
