Human Resources Specialist

Schedule: Monday – Friday; 40 hours per week
Salary: $68,000 - $75,000 annually
About Ideal Option PLLC: Ideal Option has been at the forefront of addressing the opioid crisis since our inception. With a network of over 80 clinics across multiple states, we are dedicated to providing accessible, evidence-based treatment for opioid use disorder. We are seeking a knowledgeable Human Resources Specialist to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of restoring lives, reuniting families, and healing communities affected by substance use challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations, ensuring proper documentation.
- Address employee relations matters, including complaints and harassment claims, and escalate complex issues as necessary.
- Advise management on conflict resolution strategies.
- Analyze HR data and provide recommendations for ongoing improvements.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on employee benefits.
- Contribute innovative ideas to enhance company culture and recommend process improvements.
- Manage protected leave and ADA accommodations for a diverse employee base.
- Educate staff on FMLA and related processes, handling requests accordingly.
- Track employee leaves of absence using the HRIS system and communicate with management and payroll regarding absences.
- Conduct training sessions for employees and managers on protected leave procedures.
- Oversee and manage workers' compensation claims.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Perform additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources.
- At least 2 years of experience in employee relations and oversight of related processes.
- Experience managing protected leave and ADA accommodations for a large workforce.
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred.
- Experience in organizations with 500 or more employees is highly desirable.
