Clinical Nurse Specialist

The clinical nurse specialist is a licensed professional who oversees and coordinates comprehensive nursing care for patients, engages in patient and family education, and demonstrates leadership by collaborating effectively with support nursing staff and other healthcare personnel to uphold high standards of nursing practice. A vital quality for this role is outstanding interpersonal customer service, characterized by a cheerful and welcoming attitude, a friendly demeanor, and the highest level of care and respect for our patients, families, clients, and colleagues.
Charge Nurse Responsibilities:
The charge nurse is a registered nurse appointed by the Director of Nursing to manage and supervise the functions of all unit staff, ensuring the delivery of exceptional professional care.
* Work schedule consists of 36 hours per week.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Preferred: One (1) year of experience in mental health.
- Must possess or obtain a valid RN license in Washington State; Current CPR, CPR-First Aid, BLS (AHA), or ACLS certification required.
- Bilingual and/or proficiency in English-Spanish is preferred. Ability to engage with a culturally diverse population is essential.
Salary Range: $33.21- $61.08
This position is part of a Union.
Sign-on Bonus (pro-rated for part-time roles):
- $10,000 for new graduates
- $15,000 for 1-3 years of experience
- $25,000 for 3+ years of experience
