Position Overview:
The Interventional Cardiac Specialist plays a vital role at MultiCare, delivering essential technical support during various diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures. Your focus will be on ensuring high-quality care while prioritizing the comfort and well-being of patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care activities under the supervision of the Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Registered Nurse.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment in the assigned procedure room.
- Complete necessary documentation specific to the Cath Lab.
- Assemble, disassemble, and operate specialized equipment.
- Possess a current Washington State Radiologic Technologist certification or be a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or be currently enrolled in the second year of an Invasive Cardiovascular Specialist program.
- Hold an RCIS certification or demonstrate a commitment to obtain it within six months of employment.
- Have current AHA, BLS, and ACLS CPR certifications at the time of hire.
- All staff are encouraged to utilize the Computer-Based Cath Lab Orientation 12-week module program as a resource to prepare for registry readiness.

However, compensation may vary based on factors such as skills, experience, and certifications. If this position is covered by a union contract, pay will align with the appropriate step on the pay scale based on the applicant's years of experience.
