Position Title:
Regional Nurse Practitioner for Infusion Services

Job Overview:
The Regional Nurse Practitioner for Infusion Services plays a crucial role in delivering patient care within the defined scope of practice in a clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Administers prescribed therapies in accordance with physician directives, facility protocols, and established standards.
2. Completes the patient admission process as directed by the Center Director.
3. Conducts physical assessments for each patient as necessary, particularly for new consultations based on patient diagnosis.
4. Collaborates with the on-duty Nurse Practitioner for comprehensive physical evaluations as required.
5. Accurately documents all relevant information in the patient's medical records.
6. Reports significant changes or observations to the Center Director and follows up on identified issues.
7. Communicates effectively with the IV team regarding patient status and observations.
8. Upholds patient confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations.
9. Evaluates patient responses to therapies and documents findings in the medical record.
10. Educates patients and their families about the therapy plan.
11. Participates in the Quality Improvement program.
12. Ensures all medication orders are complete, appropriate, and current prior to treatment.
13. Engages in the On-Call program, which may involve after-hours, weekend, and holiday responsibilities.
14. Provides clinical coverage for Nurse Practitioners on leave and supports new market initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. May require extensive travel to various work sites.
2. Requires a Master’s degree in Nursing and a minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
3. At least one year of experience with intravenous therapies is mandatory.
4. Must possess a current, valid, and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license to practice in the applicable state.
5. Active Family Nurse Practitioner Certification is required.
6. Multi-state licensure is necessary for providing services across multiple states.
7. Completion of a Tuberculosis test and Hepatitis B vaccination or signed waiver is required.

Preferred Skills and Experience:
1. A minimum of one year of healthcare experience with intravenous therapies is strongly preferred.

Work Environment:
