Sales Operations Specialist

This is a unique opportunity to join a growing packaging and plastics company as a Sales Operations Specialist. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of sales processes, providing exceptional customer service, and analyzing sales data to inform business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:- Order Management: Process and track customer orders, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of products.
- Sales Coordination: Act as a liaison between the sales team, customers, and internal departments to facilitate smooth sales operations.
- Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Sales Reporting: Generate and analyze sales reports, track key metrics, and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Sales Tools & CRM Management: Maintain and update the CRM system, ensuring data accuracy and providing training/support to the sales team.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Assist in managing the product lifecycle, from development to launch, including coordinating with R&D, production, and marketing teams.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitor analysis to inform product development and sales strategies.
- Pricing & Margin Analysis: Collaborate with the sales and finance teams to establish pricing strategies, analyze margins, and ensure profitability.
- Product Training: Develop and deliver training materials to educate the sales team and customers on product features and benefits.
- New Product Launches: Support the launch of new products, coordinating cross-functional activities to ensure successful market introduction.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in sales operations, product management, or a similar role within the packaging industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
