Job Summary:

Stardom Employment Consultants is seeking a highly skilled Workforce Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a Workforce Compliance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance with labor laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance Monitoring: Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
  • Audit and Assessment: Conduct regular audits and assessments of HR practices and policies to identify compliance risks.
  • Investigation and Reporting: Investigate compliance issues, employee complaints, and grievances, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Training and Guidance: Provide training and guidance to management and employees on labor laws, company policies, and ethical standards.
  • Knowledge Management: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in labor laws and regulations and communicate these changes to relevant stakeholders.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Prepare and submit required compliance reports to regulatory agencies.
  • Collaboration and Strategy: Collaborate with HR, legal, and management teams to develop and implement compliance strategies.
  • Documentation and Recordkeeping: Ensure accurate recordkeeping and documentation related to compliance activities.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven 24 years of experience as a Compliance Specialist, HR Specialist, or in a similar role.
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience in the Construction/Manufacture industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Professional certification (e.g., SHRMCP, SHRMSCP, PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
