SUMMARY:

The Compliance Administration Specialist plays a crucial role in the establishment, management, data entry, and reporting obligations to various stakeholders, including lenders, investors, and regulatory bodies. This position is responsible for the administration and upkeep of both internal and external systems, ensuring seamless operations across platforms such as Yardi Report Scheduler, Smartsheet, and other third-party applications.

The Specialist collaborates with multiple departments, including Asset Management, Legal, and Property Management, to gather necessary information for fulfilling reporting requirements, while also verifying the accuracy and compliance of disclosures. Furthermore, this role is integral in maintaining adherence to regulatory commitments across various housing programs, including but not limited to Section 42/Low-Income Housing Tax Credit, VASH, HUD Section 8, and other relevant programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the internal monitoring of essential compliance components, such as utility allowances, maximum gross rents, and occupancy data.
  • Travel to various operational locations as required.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in all work-related activities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of a two-year college education or technical training, or two years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience is required. Preferred candidates will have three or more years of experience in a related field, particularly within affordable housing programs, or possess a Bachelor’s degree. Familiarity with Smartsheet or Yardi is advantageous.

  • Proficient in interpreting and applying extensive regulatory documentation.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

SALARY RANGE:

$37,440 - $44,000, depending on experience.
