Job Overview

Haitian Bridge Alliance, Inc. (HBA) is a grassroots nonprofit organization advocating for fair and humane immigration policies. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our San Diego office.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting visitors, responding to requests, and referring clients to relevant departments.
  • Screen phone calls, manage incoming and outgoing mail, and maintain a professional communication style.
  • Complete administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and completing required forms and reports.
  • Maintain a welcoming and organized office space, including storage and filing systems.
  • Collaborate with departments to coordinate in-person events, arrange logistics, and track inventory.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a professional office setting.
  • Fluency in Haitian Creole, English, and French or Spanish required; additional African languages desirable.
  • Excellent digital literacy, proficiency with technology, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and delegate when necessary.
  • Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
