Patent Technical Specialist

Job Summary:
Nixon Peabody is seeking a highly skilled Patent Technical Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Intellectual Property group, you will assist with patent research, patent application preparation, and patent prosecution activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in conducting literature and patent searching.
- Analyze literature and patent databases to assess the patentability of inventions.
- Assist with prosecution of patent applications under close attorney supervision.
- Prepare patent applications under close attorney supervision.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 0-3 years of patent experience; post-doctoral or other related experience preferred.
- Advanced scientific degree (M.S., Ph.D.) or Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline with relevant experience.
- Clear, concise, and accurate communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Ability to maintain multiple responsibilities and manage deadlines.

Salary Range:
$98,949 to $157,505 (dependent on location)
