Job Summary

Moss is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Talent Acquisition to lead the recruitment efforts for our Solar Operations team. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative strategies to attract, hire, and onboard top talent for our hourly, non-exempt field operations team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and develop comprehensive employment branding, marketing, and recruitment strategies for hourly, high-volume positions at Solar project sites across the southern U.S.
  • Develop, hire, manage, mentor, and guide a team of Talent Acquisition professionals responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding hourly/non-exempt field operations team members.
  • Collaborate with Solar leadership and local project teams to understand hiring needs, resource planning, and local market considerations.
  • Drive a best-in-class candidate experience from job posting to offer acceptance and effective new hire onboarding for candidates speaking multiple languages.
  • Cultivate relationships with internal marketing teams, external recruitment marketing channels, talent providers, job boards, educational institutions, and local community resources for talent pipeline and advertising of current hiring needs.
  • Develop and track key recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Experienced people leader with a proven track record in Talent Acquisition-related functions in high-volume environments with a heavy density of hourly/non-exempt workforce.
  • Knowledge and experience in construction or Solar/renewable energy sector is highly preferred.
  • Passionate about excellent candidate experience and new team member onboarding.
  • Ability to build trusted partnerships with Superintendents, Solar leadership, and other HR colleagues and empathic, dynamic, and motivating leader of teams.
  • Forward-thinking and creative individual with high personal integrity, aligned to company culture and objectives.
  • Successful sourcing and recruitment of general labor or construction, including local community outreach, veteran/military engagement, and creative recruitment marketing techniques.
  • Hands-on leader who is experienced and comfortable spending time in the field to engage with and earn the respect of the business.
  • Previous experience with Workday is preferred.
  • Position is located in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and requires frequent travel (50%+).
  • Bilingual Spanish/English is desired.
