Job Summary:

The Mobile Boiler Operations Supervisor is tasked with managing the functionality, upkeep, and logistical distribution of the organization's mobile boiler fleet. This position guarantees that all units are adequately serviced, adhere to regulatory standards, and are accessible for deployment to fulfill client requirements. The Supervisor will also coordinate with field service teams, oversee fleet logistics, and enhance operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

Fleet Operations Oversight:


• Direct the daily operations of the mobile boiler fleet, ensuring all units are in prime working order and prepared for deployment.


• Formulate and execute operational policies and procedures to boost fleet performance and efficiency.


• Manage the scheduling, dispatching, and routing of mobile boiler units to satisfy customer demands.

Maintenance and Regulatory Compliance:


• Guarantee that all mobile boiler units undergo regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.


• Keep comprehensive records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.


• Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations, including safety, environmental, and transportation laws.


• Oversee the fleet's preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime and prolong equipment lifespan.

Logistics and Deployment Coordination:


• Collaborate closely with sales and operations teams to strategize and implement the deployment of mobile boilers to client sites.


• Optimize logistical operations to ensure prompt and cost-effective delivery and setup of units.


• Cultivate relationships with transportation providers and manage the logistics of relocating mobile boilers between locations.

Team Leadership and Development:


• Lead and supervise a team of technicians and field service personnel responsible for the maintenance, deployment, and operation of the mobile boiler fleet.


• Provide training, guidance, and performance assessments to ensure high levels of competence and productivity.


• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.

Inventory and Resource Management:


• Oversee the inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment essential for the operation and maintenance of the mobile boiler fleet.


• Monitor and manage expenses related to fleet operations, including fuel, repairs, and logistics costs.


• Ensure that all resources are utilized efficiently and effectively to support fleet operations.

Process Enhancement:


• Continuously assess fleet operations and maintenance processes to identify areas for improvement.


• Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance fleet performance, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.


• Stay informed about industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure the fleet remains competitive and compliant.

Customer Engagement:


• Work in conjunction with the customer service team to ensure a seamless customer experience from order placement to deployment and return.


• Address any issues or concerns related to fleet operations, maintenance, or performance in a timely and professional manner.


• Provide technical support and expertise to customers as needed.

Qualifications:

Experience:


• 5+ years of experience in fleet management, operations management, or a related field, preferably with experience in managing mobile boilers or similar equipment.


• Proven experience in managing teams and coordinating complex logistics.

Skills:


• Strong technical knowledge of boiler systems and maintenance practices.


• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.


• Strong leadership and team management skills.


• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements related to fleet operations.

Other Requirements:


• Ability to travel as required to oversee fleet operations at various locations.


• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.

Working Conditions:


• Primarily works in an office setting with regular visits to the field to oversee fleet operations.


• May be required to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet operational needs or during peak deployment periods.


• Exposure to varying weather conditions and industrial environments while on-site.
