About the Role

Tokio Marine HCC, a global leader in the specialty insurance industry, is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Director to drive growth and expansion in the Cyber & Professional Lines Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and expansion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, agents, and clients to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with senior executives to develop and implement business strategies to achieve objectives.
  • Evaluate current business performance and identify areas for improvement to maximize reach and potential.
  • Manage broker/agent relationships, meet key performance indicators, and develop new business through marketing efforts.
  • Foster additional business opportunities through business travel, virtual meetings, conferences, and industry events.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of company offerings to identify profitable business opportunities and stay current on all company products.
  • Help build long-term relationships between TMHCC underwriters and broker partners through virtual and in-person meetings and introductions.
  • Conduct broker and agent training using webinars and other web conferencing utilities.
  • Track, report, and maintain a database of current and prospective contacts, marketing campaigns, opportunities, and outreach activities in Salesforce or other CRM tools.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop, adapt, and implement specific marketing strategies and materials for new, warm, or cold prospects.
Requirements
  • 4-year bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 10 years of relevant and progressive insurance industry business development experience. Wholesale and/or retail existing book of business preferred.
