We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Staff Engineer to join our team at ENGEO Incorporated. As a Geotechnical Staff Engineer, you will be responsible for performing site-specific seismic hazard and ground-response analysis, designing earth-retaining structures, and developing geotechnical recommendations for construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Perform site-specific seismic hazard and ground-response analysis
- Design earth-retaining structures, slope stabilization, remedial grading, landslide mitigation, and foundations
- Develop geotechnical recommendations, plans, and specifications for construction projects
- Support field activities, including exploratory logging and observation of deep foundation construction
- Complete field, analytical, and project administrative tasks with direction and support from peers and leadership
- 1-3 years of professional or relevant internship/field experience
- E.I.T. certification
- Sound knowledge of civil engineering fundamentals and soil mechanics
- Team player with problem-solving skills and a fast-paced environment
- Entrepreneurial spirit and positive attitude
- Desire to continually learn and grow
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's Degree - Required
- M.S. degree or Ph.D. in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering - Preferred
